Anime
My collection has grown from my first VHS tape of Project A-Ko to numerous
DVDs. This list may help my friends get to know what they might be able
to borrow for a night, or what you in general think I like and what I think
is worth watching. I am _VERY_ picky with my five star rating. I
take into account enjoyablity the most, not the medium quality like DVD vs
VHS (although the animiation quality itself is considered).
Stuff with a one star just plain sucks and I wish I never bought it, and
feel dumber or just plain jipped out of my money for watching it. Three
stars is about average and I wouldn't be afraid to show it off. Four
and five star stuff I definitely recommend and would be enjoyable to a wide
variety of people IMHO.

Bicycling in Lincoln, NE
A particular trail that I find enjoyable in here is the Mopac Trail. Although
"technically" it starts on the eastern edge of Lincoln, I prefer to start
around the middle of town. There is a city extension that starts at a park
halfway between Holdrege and Vine streets, and right on 33rd street. It weaves
southeast, right past Gateway mall (good if you want to take a break before
hitting the big trail), and then joining with Mopac. At Mopac, it goes to
crushed limestone and is smooth going. Most of the time I just go to Walten
and turn back around, but if you are feeling ambitious the trail is 25 miles
long.
Anime Music Videos
- Rhythm Generation
(Various Anime) - A very fast paced video with too many to count anime's
featured. I noticed Project AKo, Tenchi, Sailor Moon, Ranma, Escaflowne,
Dragon Ball Z, Cowboy Bebop, Saint Tail, Initial D, Demon City, Akira,
Magic Users Club, Dirty Pair, Fushigi Yugi, Pokemon, Trigun, Jungle De Ikou
and Ah My Goddess. Those are just what I was able to recognize from anime
I've seen. Some of those were only given a second or less stressing this
video has a fast pace! Good quality.
- Senshi on Springer (Sailor
Moon) - Wierd Al's Jerry Springer song with the Senshi as guests! Very
hilarious and good quality. Somehow, the song rings very true to the relationships
in the Sailor Moon universe.
- Caffeine Encomium
(Kodoma Omacha) - What I feel like when I go on my 2 liter Mountain Dew
nights, or LAN party, or work, or... what the heck - all the time!
- Help,
by the Beatles (Tenchi) - Pretty much sums up Tenchi's life.
- SuperRad by Aquabats
(Project A-Ko) - One of the only anime vids deticated to Project A-Ko
I have come across. If you can't tell from this page, I'm a big fan of this
anime. ;)
- Mambo (Cowboy Bebop/Trigun/Excel Saga) - A little bit of spanish twisted in with the groups doing some dancing and posing.
- Candyman by Aqua (Sailor Moon) - The Super Sailor S Movie (I think). Very clear and good lip coordination with the song.
- 500 Miles by Proclaimers (Ranma 1/2) - Starring Ryoga and his many travels and frustrations around the world. He is also known as the only person to find a five minute shortcut from Siberia to Africa.
